The owner of B Creative Floral Preservation commissioned me to make advertising materials for bridal shows, funeral homes, as well as handouts for her studio. She specifically requested a trifold brochure for weddings and a separate one for funerals.

 

For the bridal brochure, I wanted to stick to bright colors to feel inviting. I used the colors of the company logo to be cohesive, which were different tones of pink and gold. Since the fonts needed to be clearly legible, I chose ones that were easy to read for all ages. I find sans fonts to be the easiest to read followed by sans serif fonts. We also included pictures of the owner's pieces to showcase her work.

 

For the funeral brochure, I chose the colors to be muted and relatively had the fonts the same as the wedding one. The only font that changed was the one on the front with the logo. Since funerals are somber, I wanted the font to reflect that emotion. I also changed the wording to reflect that as well. We also agreed to change some of the photos in the brochure to have her funeral catering pieces instead of the wedding ones.
