My original inspiration for this logo was a camera and shutter, to emphasize that this is a photography company. #7 is an abstract version of a camera shutter with the name of the company in the middle. #4 is a more circular shutter including an "N" in the middle for Nokapixo. I enjoy how #5 and #3 are elegant with the cursive font, however, both those designs do not easily convey the idea of a photography company. The final design that the client chose was #2. They felt that the camera being integrated into the type made it pleasing to look at. While working on the final version, I adjusted the colors to an earthier tone upon the client's request. I also moved "photography" from the top to the bottom. The final edit was to remove the tan background to help the logo pop more.
