This academic assignment was about creating two designs for a letter in the Greek alphabet while including the definition of the letter. The first design I decided on doing a black background to make the type pop. Specific words and phrases are emphasized to highlight what makes the letter Upsilon important. The empty space at the bottom is filled by Upsilon going downwards and fading out letter by letter, giving the composition as a whole a pyramid effect.

In the second design, I wanted to do a pop of color. I chose blue to help the white font come out. To do this design differently, I looked up Greek words starting with upsilon and added them to the bottom left corner to fill that space under "Upsilon". For the top right, I put the definition of Upsilon there to fill that space up.
